Welcome! First things first…

Who am I?
Besides being the dashing fellow over on the left, I am a digital native who has spent his life as a teacher, ambassador, and advocate for all things digital. When this collided with an education in industrial-organizational psychology and business at Penn State, a digital marketer was born.
What do I do?
I took over the stagnating communications department of my family’s financial services business and rebuilt it from the ground up to be one of the most digitally pioneering brands in the industry and a 2011 Inc. 5000 honoree. I am a fan of simple design, user-friendliness, and the radical idea that brands should treat their customers as actual people. It is this kind human-centric approach to marketing and brand communications that I strive to cultivate in the organizations in which I work.
In my free time (heh), I enjoying blogging about branding, marketing, and related technologies; photography (you’ll see some displayed here); driving, racing, and reading about cars; attempting to keep up with the latest music, TV, and movies; and tinkering with my various Apple gadgets.
